Black Leather

"Here We Go Again" ist okay, aber "Black Leather" klingt sehr hardrockig.

Sex Pistols: "Black Leather" (Cook/Jones) / "Here We Go Again" (Cook/Jones) / Produced by Cook and Jones / von der 6x7"-Package "Pistols Pack" (Virgin Sex 1-6, 1980) (download)

Summary: These 2 tracks are probably the rarest Sex Pistols tracks, only released as part of the "Pistols Pack" in 1980 which consisted of 6 singles with the most obvious Pistols tunes, similar to the "Flogging A Dead Horse" compilation. In fact these aren't the Sex Pistols but Paul Cook and Steve Jones after finishing the "Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle"-soundtrack and before forming The Professionals. "Here We Go Again" is okay, but "Black Leather" is way too much hard rock.

xhol desert hat gesagt…

I have the Sex Pistols Six Pack somewhere in vinyl-land storage, so it is nice to be able to hear these songs again (the only reason for buying Six Pack at the time).

Black Leather was given to Joan Jett and was recorded by The Runaways and it works better for Joan.

Sorry I don't have any of the interesting ex-pistol stuff for you, the swindle stopped for me! ;)
