"Bridge over Troubled Water" / "California Dreaming" / "Blowing in the Wind" / "Donna, Donna" / "Zwei Songs aus ‚Hair', (‚Let the Sunshine', ‚Aquarius')" / "Bohemian Rhapsody"

Summary: You've probably heard about the "The Langley School Music Project: Innocence & Despair"-CD, which contains Canadian kids singing all their pop favourites from the sixties and seventies at the top of their lungs accompanied by some strange instrumental noises even David Bowie couldn't resist. Inspired by this incredibly release I started to look around for similar records from Germany especially Hannover, and this was the first one I found. It's an album from a girls school and they are singing some classical stuff but also a lot of pop tunes. Okay, compared to The Langley School Music Project it sounds tame, but their take on "Bohemian Rhapsody" is so unique, you got to hear it to believe it - especially the guitar solo!
